Victor M. Garcia
ATAID is led by Victor M. Garcia, who spent his career in engine training and product support, as an instructor, a product support representative, an industry representative and a service training consultant. When he retired in 2018, he was thanked for 46 years of service.
He designed and patented the system that ATAID offers today, first built on a PowerTest portable dynamometer and applicable to any other dynamometer in the industry, portable or stationary. It was tested, validated and proven at the Miami Lakes Learning Center in May 2016, as a cost-effective way to test engines and a way for learning facilities to load their training engines.

Why "Just add water!"
It is the idea behind our patented system: the dynamometer uses water, the engine's own recirculating cooling water, to create the braking force that loads the engine while it is tested.
All it needs is water: the engine's own water pump circulates the flow through both the engine and the dynamometer. So the same water cools the engine and loads it, with only one valve, acting as the bypass and the loading valve. The engine reaches its operating temperature sooner, and the dynamometer performs better.
Live training on real engines, wherever your technicians are
We supply the equipment and services that let your instructors give live training on fully loadable engines to participants in the room and to participants connected from other locations and countries, who can watch and control the training engine.
